Agilent x1149 Boundary Scan Analyzer

Question asked by adrianc Employee on Jun 30, 2013
Hello everyone,
I would like to inform everyone that we have added a new product into our portfolio. This is the Agilent x1149 Boundary Scan Analyzer.

The Agilent x1149 Boundary Scan Analyzer is a desktop boundary scan tester that allows you to test your products using the boundary scan chains on the boards. If there is a JTAG connector on board, you don't even need to use a fixture to probe the boards. Just connect the Agilent x1149 Boundary Scan Analyzer with the supplied ribbon cable to the JTAG port and you can start testing!

The Agilent x1149 Boundary Scan Analyzer is great for testing the ICs on your board during prototype stage. We have included Cover-Extend Technology (CET) test capabilities, so that non-boundary scan components and connectors connected to the boundary scan chains can also be tested easily. This maximises the test coverage. So, by just connecting to your board directly, you can confirm that the ICs are soldered to the board properly. This will be great in today's fast paced manufacturing environment!

We use the latest .NET environment to make it easy for anybody to develop and debug boundary scan tests, and then confidently commission it in production for any operator to execute. It is also very easy for rework operators to rework the boards because all faults will be diagnosec to the pin level and displayed in the failure tickets.
