Using digital input after upgrading from DSO to MSO

I have recently installed the MSO upgrade to my DSO-X 2022A, which gives me eight extra digital inputs.

While trying to follow the Agilent InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series Oscilloscopes Programmer's Guide on, for example page 502 for setting the SPI MOSI source, it seems like there must be a bug in the code somewhere, because the MSO does not seem to be fully activated (the unit has been power cycled after the MSO license was installed and the digital inputs are proven to work).

The command syntax on the above page is described as
:SBUS:SPI:SOURce:MOSI ::= {CHANnel | EXTernal} for the DSO models ::= {CHANnel | DIGital} for the MSO models ::= 1 to (# analog channels) in NR1 format ::= 0 to (# digital channels - 1) in NR1 format

When trying to send the following command to the oscilloscope using the USBTMC-interface, it screams back at me "Parameter error":
:SBUS:SPI:SOURce:MOSI DIGital0

Is this an expected outcome on an MSO device?
