HP8753 and ESD

What measures should I take to protect my HP8753 network analyzer from damage due to ESD (electrostatic dischard) during typical use? Should I ground myself with an ESD wrist strap?

I've been using an HP8753 for a while now without following any sort of process to protect the device against ESD. The only ports I ever use are the two main APC-7 connectors on the front, and I haven't yet had any problems. Even though this has worked fine so far I want to be sure I understand what ESD practices are typically followed in the industry.

Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks
