The scope incorrectly sets 10:1 for the probe's scaling. Running "Probe Check" returns a message "...detected the probe to be 5:0 press OK to apply this value". Pressing OK instead of selecting 5:0 (which is correct for this probe) seems to run the probe check again and returns a message "...detected the probe to be 2:0 press OK to apply this value". Pressing OK again runs it yet again and returns a message "...detected the probe to be 1:0 press OK to apply this value". Pressing OK again briefly flashes a message which I can't read fast enough. The scaling remains on auto 10:1.
The same behaviour has been observed with the system firmware 2.35 and 2.12.
The only workaround is to insulate the probe's autodetect pin and manually setting the scaling to 5:0. Running the probe check then returns a pass.
Thanks
tomasz.

I'm happy that you found a workaround.
