According to the Help menus, ET is -16dBc. A field engineer stated that -20dBc, and then I got back a setting for -23 dBc.

Lower extraction tones means less chance of the ET changing the operating point, but more noise on the extraction.

-16 dB is 2.5% of the power (about 15% of the voltage). Feel free to change ET values and look at X parameters; if they don't change with larger values, then larger ET is fine. In fact, you can be very analytical about it and chose the value of ET that results in a change from a lower power ET that is the same as the noise on the lower power ET; thus the error from ET is the same as the error from noise.
