I have a question here regarding the programming of Lightwave Measurement System 8164A and 8164B. We have been use 8164A for a long time and use a C program to call the Lambda Scan Applications. Everything works fine. Recently we replaced 8164A with 8164B. However, it is not working now. After we call hp816x_executeMfLambdaScan, 8164B stucked there.

According to Agilent website, the difference between 8164A and 8164B is:
    Faster processor
Faster IEEE 488 chipset which enables a faster throughput that is 30 % faster for large block transfers

Any one has the similar experience before that can share with me?

Thanks a lot.
