Hello guys,
i have Agilent E4443A 3Hz-6.7Hz spectrum analyzer and we were trying to measure Allan Varience
we want to connect the analyzer to trace recorder which we thought by just adding the IP , will work smoothly
but it didn't work and we have no idea on how to connect them together so the program read what comes out of the spectrum.
i am really need for a solution for that issue ( want to know a way to connect them together )
so guys if anyone of you does have a way to do it please share it with me

Is the trace recorder a software package that someone wrote? If the software interfaces to the PSA via LAN, then you will need to set the appropriate IP address, subnet mask, and network gateway using the PSA’s system menu. Unfortunately, the PSA doesn’t have DHCP enabled to set up the network parameters for you. If you have connection issues to the PSA via LAN, try using a LAN switch or hub in to connect the PSA to and to connect your PC to. The PSA has a 10 base T LAN connection for which almost all LAN switches will automatically detect and throttle back to 10 Mbps to communicate to the PSA’s network. Also, make sure your instrument has an necessary options that the software that you are using expects the PSA to have. For instance, if the software requires that the instrument have the narrow band digitizer (option B7J), you will need to make sure the instrument has this option and that the associated measurement personality (Basic / IQ Analyzer) is loaded.
