Hello,
My software team is interested in using Linux to control test instruments through a variety of possible interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, PXI, or AXI. In the 5989-6715EN.pdf document, it talks about the Ethernet and USB drivers and interfaces being controllable in a Linux environment. However, it does not talk about PXI or AXI, such as M9392A PXI Vector Signal Analyzer. I wanted to know whether Agilent has some mechanism/driver to talk to PXI or AXI based instruments via Linux? Or whether we can install Linux on a M9036A PXIe Embedded Controller?
Thanks,
rok

When the word "signal analyzer" is in the title, please post this in the SA forum; probably here: Signal Analyzers - Programming and Remote Control :-)
