DSOX-3024 Stuck On DC

A strange thing happened when I was making measurements on a switching power supply.  The max voltage on the supply was 35 volts and I'm sure I didn't damage the scope.  To measure ripple and DC voltage across the capacitors on the output side of the power supply,  I was switching between AC and DC.  When I when I tried to measured ripple on a 9 volt output, channel 1 was stuck on DC.  The menu changed to AC but there was still a DC 9v offset on the trace.

I turned off the scope and when it rebooted, the problem cleared.
