If you use a user function, then the show panel and hide panel objects
can be used to control the display of the panel

Subject: [vrf] User Object Panel

Hi,
I'm stuck with a problem.  I'm building an application that calls a
"user object" to display data.  I pop up the "user object" panel to
display this data.  But when it is done processing and displaying, it
automatically closes the "user object" panel.  I want to be able for
this to stay open, even if its not active while my application is
running.  Sort of like a floating window that I could minimize and keep
on doing other stuff.
Thanks!

Yohan
