Hello,
We have a plan to use external tunnable YIG filter to improve the noise floor of external LO source for noise measurement with PXA.
The issue here is this YIG filter takes some time until it is tuned at LO frequency while we perform swept LO and fixed IF style noise figure measurement.
When it is tuned, this YIG filter module will provide a voltage level that indicate it has been tuned.
I was wondering if there is any solution to use this indicator to syncronize the sweep of PXA at each measurement points. - like point triggering in PNA-X in s parameter measurement sweep.
Thank you.
Steve

At this time there is no feature on the PXA that will allow you to do this.
The application is specialized, and an Agilent Application Engineer would need to get involved to take a deep dive, and obtain an understanding of the external YIG filter control situation.
This question cannot be addressed via the Agilent Spectrum Analyzer Forum.
