Hi,
I am using the LabView to remotely perform a measurement on 3458A. I see the measurement result returned back correct but the STB status also indicates error. From the instrument front panel, I checked the error which indicates "107, Memory Empty" error. I wonder what this error mean? And, is there anything that I can do to get rid of this error?
Thanks.
Peggy

I would have to see your program. Or an NI I/O trace so I can see what commands are actually being sent to the instrument.
Normally you would get this message if an RMEM command was sent to the instrument and there are no readings in memory.
I assume you are using the 3458A driver? If yes, then it is sending a lot of commands to the instrument you may not be aware of, thus I would need to get a copy of your program, or an NI I/O trace that was recording while your program was running.
If you do not want to publish the program on the forum, please email to spd_support@agilent.com
