Dear Colleagues,

After cutting my teeth on a HP 8505A system and ******* over a HP
8753C system for some years now, I've finally made a purchase. The
series of the 8753C is 3310A and the HP 85046A S-Parameter test set
is 3033A, both compatable for electronic switching (one if my
requisites). My units are due to ship this week so they're not
in my presence as yet. I have received what were promoted as manuals
covering the 3310A series anlayzer (ca 1993?). I have a couple of
picky questions I'd like answers to. Here they are:

1. There is a split screen mode where two parameters can be displayed
either separately or superimposed. I've been told that these two
displays can each be further slit into two, thus allowing 4 separate
parameters for simultaneous viewing. The analyzer firmware version
is 4.12. Can anyone comment on whether or not 4 parameters can in
fact, be displayed?

2. Contained in my "HP 8753C Operating Manual" is a "User's Guide."
Its publication date is April 1, 1989. Does anyone know whether
there was a more current one published - perhaps one around 1993 or
so?

I would like to communicate with some individuals who are familiar
with this instrument. After reading over the manual it appears that
there will be a rather steep learning curve.
