I have a 16702B with a 16751A card. Anybody know if I can _also_ install a 16754A for more speed and Eye capability for some occasions or do all cards need to be the same?
I have also picked up another 16751A. Do the two _need_ to be jumpered together into a 2-card module or can they be operated independently. And what is the effect of jumpering them together?
Anybody know where I can find the 2x10 and 2x40 jumpers? This mainframe does not have an accessory pouch.
Thanks,
Bill

Yes, you can install a second 16751 card. If the 2 cards are not jumpered together, they will operate as 2 separate analyzers, with cross triggering. If they are correctly jumpered together, they will operate together as a single 136 channel analyzer.
The 2x10 cables are on each card in one corner, and the cards will not work if they are not there. When connecting 2 cards, they just need to be rerouted. The 2x40 cables were shipped with each card from the factory. They are available from Agilent Parts supply as 16754-60002 for $466.00 for the pair. If you are in the U.S. send me a private message through the forums. I might have a couple that are just collecting dust.
