DMM Trouble

Hey, I'm using BenchVue on Windows 8 with a 34405A DMM and I'm having an issue. Whenever I start recordings, everything will be going smoothly (for seconds or minutes) until eventually the DMM beeps loudly a few times and then gives me an error message to the effect of "Query INTERRUPTED" and then recordings will stop. Initially I thought it was firmware so I updated that to little effect. Looking at the literature online, it seems like this error occurs because the device tries to send a data packet to the computer before the previous one is fully received. In order to mitigate this, I changed the sample interval to 1 sec, which is the longest acceptable interval for my testing. This had mixed results but eventually around 10 minutes in my recordings were interrupted yet again. I'm currently running at 1.25 s intervals for sampling now and it has beeped several times without stopping my test. Is there anything I could be doing differently to stop this error from happening?
