We have tried to scan at 100 samples per second and the software freezes.

What instrument and multiplexer card are you using? The one whose fastest scanning speed is spec'd at 100 rdgs/sec is the 34921A multiplexer for the 34980A. That speed is within one 20 channel bank. With BLDL3, the fastest I could get is 94 rdgs/sec. This is with the interval set to 0. I also tried it with the interval set to 10 ms. It did not freeze. I was connected with LAN sockets, which is the fastest IO connection. I'm running Windows Enterprize and Agilent IO Libraries 16.3.
