Hello - I have a DMM 3458A with Agilent badge - latest HW build - SW. Rev. 9.2 - the unit is in perfect condition.

I want to replace the SRAM snaphat batteries one by one while the unit is powered ON ... [DCV range ] - what are the caveats and pitfalls ... ?
what's the risk that the calibration data would be lost due such intervention and how to avoid it ... ?

Is it doable by skilled user / owner ?
