There is not just one command call for the 8753 that will return both magnitude and phase. The "OUTPFORM" command can return either depending on the format of the 8753 display. I would recommend using the "OUTPDATA" command, which will return a real/imaginary pair for each data point. You can then calculate the magnitude and phase in the controlling PC, which will free the 8753 to process more commands. I have attached a document that discusses these calculations.
