Effects of changing scale on the PNA

On the E8362B PNA, will changing the scale affect the quantization noise of the measurement? Also, is it possible to adjust the sampling rate of the A/D?

Hi, In short, no to both questions.
The scaling on the PNA is always post acquisition, so it is only a display item, and has no influence on the value of the number displayed.
and no, you can't change the ADC sample rate.
Might I enquire as to why you would want to? Perhaps there's another way to skin the cat.
