Characterizing Temperature Profile of OEM Power Supply with 34970A, 34972A

Question asked by tomc on Sep 27, 2012
Using the 34970A to characterize the temperature of an OEM power supply. If the temperature stays within tolerance then a fan will not have to be added to the enclosure. Thermistors have been added to the critical components of the power supply. The temperatures are logged using the data logger SW. The 34970A can be connected to the PC using GPIB or RS232 while the 34972A can be connected using LAN or USB.
