- how do you convert dBm to dBm/Hz ?

- will the 3589 measure dBm/Hz ?

- or do I need to use some external math program to do the conversion ?

- I was thinking of using Softplot to capture the screen and apply a mathmatical function to convert to dBm/Hz

Appreciate feedback

thanks

well, I guess the 3589 was advertised as a combo SA/NA...OK I guess.

Look at:

http://www.home.agilent.com/cgi-bin/pub ... RY_CODE=US

or go to www.agilent.com and put in 3589, follow the next link to the 3589 home page where you can down load a data sheet and op manual. The data sheet does say that there is a 1 Hz equiv. noise function, so I would guess it is possible.
