I want to generate a LFM signal. The Parametres list as follow:
Carrier frequency : 2 GHz
BandWIdth :80MHz
Pulse width:20μs
How to generate the signal, download the wave files to E8267, programming with MATLAB?
The BandWidth is 80 MHz that the max BandWidth of E8267.
Could it result in Spectral distortion? How to solve this problem with MATLAB?

Matlab does have features that will allow you to create the this LFM signal:
Carrier frequency – 2GHz
Bandwidth – 80MHz
Pulse width – 20us
Rather than going through the complicated details of signal creation I recommend checking out the Matlab File Exchange page:
http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/
From this page do a search on LFM and this should give examples on how to create the LFM signal.
In addition to Matlab you will need the Matlab Signal Processing Toolbox and the Waveform Download assistant.
The waveform download assistance can be found at:
http://www.home.agilent.com/agilent/fac ... btn=Search
Once you have created the waveform, use the Waveform Download assistant download the LFM waveform into the E8267D.
You are correct in that the E8267D specified I/Q bandwidth is 80MHz but the actual bandwidth extends much farther . So with described signal above you should have no spectral
distortion due to Bandwidth limitations.
