We are in the process of trying to determine if we should purchase a 33522A-400(R)
We would like to program the arbitrary waveform generator in the following manner:
Store a number of points where say 10 points would define a rise from 0V to +20V - then 20 points would keep us at +20V - and then 10 points would return us to 0V
We are trying to emulate a synthesized waveform that, when viewed as a surface of rotation, iis not rotationally symmetric
The synthesized waveform is a series of steps

Yes this would be very easy to achieve with this instrument. The only stipulation is the box can only output 10VPP into 50 ohms, and 20VPP into Hi-Z
In order to get the 0 to +20V you would need to add a +10V external offset to the box, and the load would have to be Hi-Z.
