Greeting! I have a question about the modulation rate of M9381A. It is noticed that the IQ sample rate of M9381A is 200MHz, so how could it generate 160MHz baseband signal?

Thank you for your questions. It works like this...

The sample rate for I is 200MSa/s.

With Nyquist considerations this gives 100MHz max. We have a LPF filter for aliasing which limits the I BW to 80MHz.

The Q channel is the same.

If I BW is 80MHz and Q BW is 80MHz this gives a RF modulation BW of 160MHz.
