I'm looking for part and/or model number of 8510B's CRT monitor. I have service manual Vol 5 and could not find the part or model number of the CRT monitor. Don't know where HP list such number.

Doesn't seem anybody know that either. I also found some intriguing ideas to retrofit the CRT with a LCD by certain outlets for the 8566 SA and other VNA models, none for the 8510A/B Series. I have some spare times and the kids are now growing up and leaving home for colleges. So maybe this is a fun project for me then. The basic material cost first calculated is not more than $500. The design task is simpler enough to convert XY data into raster scan to display on a 640x480 TFT LCD. If you guys have any inputs & recommendations, please feel free to post.
