Can I determine coupling factor of a directional coupler with random load?

If I buy a 40 dB coupler, then if the load on the output port is 50 Ohms, the coupling factor will be approximately 40 dB. If I want a ore precise value, I can measure it  

But what if that load impedance becomes some random value, such as 10 - j 15 Ohms. Is there any way to measure the S parameters of a coupler, and from then be able to preduct what the coupling factor will be with an arbitrary load impedance on the output port? 

I can't think of a way to do it, yet I'm thinking the calibration routine on a VNA needs to know this sort of information about the couplers in the VNA.
