vrf Modbus RTU

Question asked by VRFuser on Jan 9, 2008
Reiner,
Danaher motion provided a ModbusRTU.dll type library that can be activated as a COM object in VEE activex controls.
I am having trouble knowing the syntax to make it work. They did provide me with sample code for Visual Basic that uses the COM object. But again I'm having difficulty with it.

Regards,
Grover

I wrote a driver that uses the WinTech activex server to talk Modbus, which is still in use, but I haven't looked at the code in years.  What problem are you having?  Which server are you using?

Best regards

Subject: [vrf] Modbus RTU

Hi VRF,
Has anyone used the ModbusRTU Activex library for communications?
I have a motor drive I am trying to control using Modbus RTU protocol through VEE's Activex COM object.
I am having a hard time figuring out what the syntax is as far as the COM object.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
