vrf VEE 8.5 Runtime - Bug??

Question asked by VRFuser on Nov 19, 2007
Yes, I also experienced this issue with VEE 8.5 under WinXP.
It was serious enough that I unistalled it and resumed using ver. 8.01.
I will wait until the patch appears before doing another evaluation.

I had the problem where I could not place a cursor inside a formula box.  It was if the mouse button did not work.  After repeated attempts at placing a cursor inside the formula box, it might appear at the beginning of the line (although that was not where I wanted it) and then I could only move the cursor with my right and left arrow keys.  This has happened a couple of times in the last two weeks.  This happens after I have been editing in a Vee program for a while, and rebooting the computer fixes it.  Even using remote desktop had the same problem.

Hi All,

I upgraded about 2 weeks ago to 8.5. I have been working on a program for a while. I noticed that my computer has been very slow. I looked in the task manager in the processes tab and noticed two instances of veerun.exe running and each using 33% of the system processor resources. There were NO vee programs running at the time I checked the the processes. I killed both instances and the computer was faster but still not back to full speed. I then rebooted and now it is normal. I don't normally reboot very often.

Has anyone else had this happen?

If it happens again I will submit a bug report.

Thanks,

Mark
