vrf Display Flicker

Question asked by VRFuser on Nov 28, 2007
Warren,

Excellent, that was it. I never knew or realized that it was a redraw that was causing the flashing.

Thanks for the help.

Mark

Mark,

I don't get any flicker, either in the VXE or the VEE file.  But I wonder if it flickers because you ping the MinValue and MaxValue pins with each update - maybe that makes VEE "redraw" the slider and so you get a flicker.  In your program, you only need to ping these once.

Regards,
Warren

Subject: [vrf] Display Flicker

Hi All,

Does anyone know why certain objects flicker when user functions with displays are called. In the attached example, the slider flickers when the seconds display is updated, but not every time. Why does it do it sometimes and not others? How can I get rid of it or is it even possible?

Thanks,

Mark
