vrf Deleting libraries

Question asked by VRFuser on Jun 24, 2008
HI Jacob,

Download an evaluation copy of VEE 8.5 and have a try.  The memory management in VEE is improved in VEE 8, see if it could fix your problems.

The URL is http://www.home.agilent.com/agilent/pro ... id=1239722. Please install the 8.51 patch also if you want to try it.

Best regards,

Cao Luo

Subject: [vrf] Deleting libraries

Hi VRF

Concerning the delete library object
I have a program which was designed to be as flexible as possible. Thus when a measurement is made, the data get passed through a "post processor". The processor loads in function libraries, processes the data and outputs an answer. So far this method has worked very well. But I get the feeling that the delete library function does not free up used memory.

Last time I checked the page file usage goes up beyond 1GB when the veerun.exe is reporting much less. When the program closes the page file usage goes down to around 400mb.

Is there a way to make sure that the program frees up used memory when the imported user functions are deleted.

Thanks
Jacob Meachen
