Just as a general point of interest, no - not really. A Matlab formula can do if/then/else and probably a lot more but to do C or some other compiled language you *can* use the compiled function interface. Functions imported this way can be used in a formula box.

I should not be lazy and go look I assume I can write C or Basic inside a VEE function box using DO loops and If/then etc. but I've never tried it.
I need to store some global variables so that the algorithm can use them after each reading of the item to be controlled.. not sure about that either.
This is probably the dumbest question for the day..
