vrf what SCPI command to make the Agilent 34907a card output a voltage?

Question asked by VRFuser on Mar 27, 2008
I got the answer... by calling Agilent

if your desired voltage output variable name is e.g.  "dcout"
and dcout=4.2
the command would be

"SOUR:VOLT ",dcout,",(@204)"

this should get the 34907a card in slot 2 and channel 4 to output 4.2 volts.

We bought a 34907a card that goes in an Agilent 34970a data acq. unit.
There are two channels on the card that will allow dc voltage output.
What command do we send from VEE to command the card to make a voltage output?
The command must have a variable name as a parameter because VEE is calculating a value and then and we want the card (34907a) to output the dc volts.
