Question asked by VRFuser on Jun 9, 2008
Hi Nick,

What the OS type in your computer? I tried to reproduce it in English XP SP2 following your steps but it did not give me trouble.

Subject: [vrf] Vee 8.5 serious bug - declaring variables

Hi All

Just noticed a serious bug in Vee 8.51 (Agilent please note).

If you go to declare a variable, delete the variable name and then inadvertently click outside the “Declare Variable” object before entering a new variable name, ie click on the main workspace, you get an error 622 (Invalid Variable/Terminal Name).  If you click on “OK” on this error it crashes/closes vee.  All unsaved work lost!

Don’t remember this happening with earlier versions.

Save often!

Nick
