vrf Matlab custom function

Question asked by VRFuser on Mar 4, 2008
Which version of VEE do you use?

If you use full MATLAB in VEE, you can use .m files in VEE MATLAB script, you don’t need to compile them.

If you use the built-in MATLAB engine in VEE:

In VEE 8.5, I don’t think it is possible. The built-in MATLAB engine of VEE is MATLAB Component Runtime. Please check these references from Mathworks:

      http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-17FWRY.html?solution=1-17FWRY, http://www.mathworks.com/support/soluti ... on=1-QXFMQ ,  http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/compiler/index.html?/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/compiler/f10-998688.html#f10-998993.

2. In the versions before VEE 8.5, you can use .m files in VEE MATLAB script since the built-in MATLAB engine is MATLAB Runtime Server. But MATLAB Runtime Server was no longer sold as a separated product, for details: http://www.mathworks.com/products/new_p ... l?BB=1#MRS.
