I don't seem to have much luck buying VNAs or VNA cal kits

* I buy 3 VNAs, and *none* of them is fully functional.
* I buy 4 caibration kits, and only two are functional.
* I buy 2 verification kits, and only 1 is functional.

But the attached picture really wins the competition for the worst item. This is what I was presented with as I opened the box.

It was described as a *"good condition 85050B calibration kit"*. I did see some photos, but never really sufficient, and I guess I should have realized the seller was a bit of an idiot as he only wrote in capitial letters.

The next problem is trying to work out how much of this is useful and how much is junk, without my wife screaming at me for making a mess. I think I might have to do it in the garden, where she might not moan quite as much. It's a shame the temperature outside is around 0 degrees Centrigrade just now.

Have a laugh at my expense!
