Try to use [Mode Setup] > {Restore Mode Defaults}, and check if the display is back to normal. If not, check the “Regional and Language Option” in Windows Control Panel. As from the instrument Getting Started Guide: http://www.home.agilent.com/agilent/redirector.jspx?action=ref&cname=AGILENT_EDITORIAL&ckey=873580&lc=eng&cc=US&nfr=-11143.0.00&pselect=SR.GENERAL
On page 54 to 55, some of the system settings must not be changed, otherwise the instrument may behaves abnormally. Particularly, do not change the Regional and Language Option. The default settings of Regional Options tab should be “Standards and formats-English(United States)”, “Location-United States”. The default settings of Language tab should be “English (United States) US”. User can check these settings from Windows Control Panel > Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options > Regional and Language Options. If it was changed, try to revert it back to default settings as mentioned above. And then reboot the instrument.
