Answer: The scenario files reside on the hard drive until one is selected for playback, and then it is loaded into the baseband memory. 1 hour of simulation results in a scenario file of about 1 MB, so a 24 hour scenario file would be roughly 24 MB. 1 MSa takes up about 4 MB so a 24-hour scenario is about 6 MSa. Thus opt. 601 (8 MSa or 40 MB baseband memory) is sufficient to play back a 24 hour scenario.
