663XB :: switching to COMP language causes a RI protection

Question asked by woliurbe on Jul 8, 2010
When the PORT setting in the SCIPI language is configured to DIGIO, a RI protection trips when you switch to COMP language. This is due to the COMP language not understanding the DIGIO port setting, and tripping the Remote Inhibit.

Before switching to COMP language your need to do the following in the SCPI Language.

1. Press Output on the front panel
2. Using the Function Up arrow and scroll to the PORT settings.
3. Press the Entry Up Arrow, which is located next to the number 9, to change the setting to PORT RIDFI.

Now you can change to the COMP language. Please note that *RST does not reset the PORT setting.
