Hello everybody!
I have an arbitrary waveform stored in my 81150A waveform generator. The waveform is not periodic. I need to know when the waveform starts to be repeated, it is, when the beginning of the waveform occurs. I have been thinking in set to OFF and to ON each time I need to perform a measurement, but It seems It doesn't works. It seems as when you set to ON the output, the waveform doesn't re-start.
I would appreciate any idea about how accomplish this.
Thank you in advance.

Let me quote the user manual:
http://cp.literature.agilent.com/litweb ... -91020.pdf
-------------------------
Continuous Trigger Mode:
In this mode, the instrument continuously generates the output signal. The
next waveform cycle, burst or sweep starts immediately after the previous
one is finished. There is not gap or distance between two consecutive ‘cycles’.
-------------------------
If the start of the output generation should be somehow controled then Triggered maybe better (e.g. using external trigger input, or a key press) to control the start of signal generation.
As far as I know Enabling/Disabling the output has no effect at all on the start of signal generation.
Does this help?
