I would like to make communication between PC an 4UHV Ion Pump Controller (HT source). I have problem with CRC calculation. Agilent doesn't desribe CRC polynom in documentation (http://www.chem.agilent.com/library/usermanuals/public/4uhv_ion_pump_controller_manual.pdf) (pages 75 - 77 and 81 - 84).
My question is: What kind of CRC polynom does Agilent usually use?
Example from Agilent:
STX_ ADDR_WINDOW_WR_DATA_ETX_CRC__
2___80_____30 31 31__31___31___03__42 33_
Data for CRC calculation (without STX and with ETX):
0x80303131313103
CRC with using CRC-16: 0x711C
CRC with using CCITT-16: 0x8CC5
