When using wave form editor and the damp factor in segment parameters function , can this be correlated to the math function. Maybe the RC time decay formula? Instument is the 33220A.

Yes the equation is essentially e^(dampfactor *t). Likewise exp rise is (1-e^(dampfactor*t))
If you want a little more control there is an equation/noise add-in for the waveform editor.
