Amplifier Impedance Matching Measurement using N9923A

Hi all,

any kind soul can assist me on this?

i am using N9923A fieldfox ( with option 122 ) to measure my amplifier input impedance and output impedance matching.

switching to smith chart, perform proper calibration at the end of both cable before connecting the DUT, and start measuring in 4 S parameter.

i am able to get the result quite satisfactory for S11, and S21.

however, for S22, and S21, i wonder shall i bias up the amplifier? this is because i am able to get close to 50ohm while the amplifier is turned off, and  impedance value changes after powering up the amplifier.

measuring S22 with the amplifier turning on will the internal noise cause the result not stable?

thanks if anyone anyone has experience on dealing with amplifier output and input impedance measurement..
