vrf I'm losing characters between From File transactions

Question asked by fukui.yutaka on Sep 5, 2007
Hi,

I do not understand what the "pointer is jumping ahead" mean but ...

For your infomation:
If I remember correctly, VEE has only one pointer to one file.
That is, even if multiple "From File" objects file exist to the same file, there exists only one pointer to the file. So, if you read a data from a file with one of the "From File" object, the next read with another "From Fi le" object reads the next data from a file.

alue pairs that I need.  Between From File boxes it looks like the pointer is jumping ahead.  I use the alphanumeric output to see what is read and it is de finitely jumping ahead.
