I assume you are referring to running ADS Momentum simulation and looking for ways to reduce the simulation time. In general there are many ways to speed up the simulation, including using MomentumRF mode, reducing mesh density, use a simpler via model, use sheet metal instead of thick conductor, or reduce the overall size of the geometry. For details in these approaches please refer to the ADS Documentation on EM simulation.
But, if one wants to simulate accurately, he has to go to momentum only. It takes a lot of time(for a dual band filter it approximately takes 20 minutes). what to do?
Thank you, I would contact them. But could I know, Is there any substrate other than alumina, as predefined with different dielectric constant value in ADS?
Yes, there are many other substrate materials pre-defined in ADS. All you have to do is to add these pre-defined materials from the database to your technology's materials definitions. See this documentation page for details: HOME>Design Tools> Schematic Capture and Layout>Materials Definitions.
