Using 0-1 Vpp, 60 Hz single burst ramp to drive the collector of a 2N2222 transistor. When open circuit, the ramp output is exactly as expected. When connected, the FG output current ramps up from 0 to 5 mA over about 8 ms and then levels off. During the transition, the FG output voltage is not able to maintain the needed ramp slope (see figure). Once the 1/60 second period is over, the burst ends with the output voltage well short of the 1 Vpp set point. From slew rate specs I wouldn't expect the FG to have any problem with this. Is there something special about burst output that is causing the problem, and if so, is there anything that can be done?
