Suspending while remote ECal on E5071C is being performed?

I've been unsuccessful in finding a way to deal with this. On the PNA-X/PNA-L analyzers I've set up it was relatively simple to use asyn and then poll the event register. The problem now is I'm unable to find a "reliable" method to check for the command ("SENS:CORR:COLL:ECAL:SOLT4 1,2,3,4") to finish short of either
a) Increasing the timeout to unreasonable values
b) time it and add in an estimated sleep.

Is there a better way to handle this? I've tried to see if I could implement any other sort of polling methods or even *wai support, but to no avail. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
