I am trying to synchronize two 33210A's with 001 option at different frequencies (with square waves) .

One is at f1= 100 kHz and the other at f2 = 100kHz + 10Hz.

I tried both methods (continuous and burst mode) but have not been successful. I cannot get both waveforms to be triggered at the same time.

Is there a condition on the two frequencies for phase locking? I can easily lock if f2 is an integer multiple of f1.

Fundamentally, there is now way to phase lock two signals that are not harmonically related. If you draw it out on a piece of paper you will notice that if you pick the same phase point on both signals (0 degrees for example) these points will drift apart as you look at subsequent cycles.

Thanks,
