Fw: vrf Vee and Multicore Processors

Question asked by VRFuser on Sep 19, 2007
I have not played with dual core processors yet, does anyone know if Windows allows you can assign separate in/out devices such as USB cards, or separate programs to the separate processors?  If so, then Detlef's idea of using two Vee programs simultaneously would work very well to speed up a process - almost like running two separate machines.

Subject: AW: [vrf] Vee and Multicore Processors

LV is much more faster, universal and sophisticated than Vee
Vee is only single thread, and if you want to use two processors you have to use 2 vee programs and hoping that your operating system is doing the correct task seperation...
Perhaps the future will change if you send this demand to the enhancement wish web site of Agilent ?

Betreff: [vrf] Vee and Multicore Processors

Hi All,

I was reading a NI newsletter about using LV with multicore processors (see url), and I was wondering if anyone has tried this with Vee, or if it is possible?  I have a process that reads two laser heads, and with this type of processing I could really speed up the testing.

Thanks,
