vrf Courses for VEE in Aust

Question asked by VRFuser on Apr 27, 2008
Alex,

Many years ago (Vee had just advanced to Version 4 then [we we're still using VEE 3]) I attend a 5 day VEE course in Sydney run by HP (now Agilent).  There we're about 8 or 9 attendees.  Contact Agilent in Melbourne, [1800 225 574], and if they get enough interest, they'll organise one.  They can be a bit expensive, but with the exchange rate the moment, the value should be better now than it has been in the past.  If you can get the University to pay for the course, all the better for you.

There has been no better teacher than good old "hands on" experience.  You do get a fair bit of that on the course.  I'd love to do another course to learn how to implement the .Net side of things in VEE, (we now use 7.5 Pro), I've tried a few times, and have got some basic stuff working, but I'm sure there is a world of options waiting for me.

Cheers,
Gary

Subject: [vrf] Courses for VEE in Aust

Hello everyone

Just wondering if anyone knows of a worthwhile course to learn the basics of VEE programming in Australia, preferrably Sydney.  I checked the Agilent website and none are scheduled this year.  Where did you guys learn the basics, on the job?

I seem to be learning it slowly from this user group, thanks heaps for all your help by the way!!

Regards
Alex
