I have a test system which talks to a mobile phone over a com port. Every now and again it stops with a com “port not open” error. Power cycling the phone releases it but this can’t be done remotely in our set up. Does anyone have a simple way to disable and then enable a com port? I can reboot the phone remotely but a reboot is not the same as a power cycle.
I would be grateful for any hints.
